Hannah & Clay: A South Hills Romance and Wedding Day to Remember✨
Where It All Began
Hannah grew up in Jefferson Hills and Clay in South Park, yet their paths never crossed growing up. It wasn’t until 2017, thanks to a mutual friend who also grew up in South Park, that the two finally met. That same friend would later stand beside Hannah as a bridesmaid, making their story feel even more meant-to-be.
In March of 2017, the two began a connection that has lasted nearly nine years. Clay made Hannah wait a whole year before officially asking her to be his girlfriend, but the patience only strengthened their bond.
After Hannah graduated from college, she moved in with her Maid of Honor, and Clay quickly followed. Soon after, they moved to the Moon area, building the early years of their life together.
Cleveland: A Chapter of Growth
A few years later, a new adventure began when Hannah moved to Cleveland for two years, and Clay moved with her. Living together in a new city brought them even closer, giving them memories, challenges, and growth that deepened their relationship even more.
They returned to the South Hills last year and now share a cozy apartment in South Park, not far from Ya Ya’s Pizza, a spot that already holds countless everyday moments and memories.
The Proposal: October 22, 2023
Two years ago, Clay planned a moment Hannah would never forget. On October 22nd, 2023, at the top of the hill near the apple-picking trees at Simmons Farm, he asked her to marry him. The fall colors, fresh air, and quiet beauty of the orchard made the moment feel timeless.
Clay chose Hannah’s engagement ring from South Hills Jewelers, working closely with Jeanne to create something perfect. Later, he selected his wedding band here as well.
Hannah picked her wedding band with Jeanne’s help, too, and she couldn’t love it more.
She shared:
“I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my set. It’s so gorgeous—I can never stop staring at it.”
She also spoke about her experience with SHJ:
“SHJ has been so professional through the last two years. Jeanne has been so amazing—I always look forward to seeing her and the other staff when I go for inspections and cleanings.”
It means everything to us to play a small role in moments so meaningful.
The Wedding: October 4, 2025
Hannah and Clay said “I do” on October 4th, 2025, at Joiner Farms Wedding & Event Barn in Indiana, PA. The barn theme, paired with warm colors of beige, cabernet, and navy blue, created a stunning, romantic fall celebration.
Their day was captured beautifully by Joe & Jamie Fairley of Fairley Foto, who documented every emotional moment. The photos they have shared so far are just sneak peeks, but they already radiate joy, love, and the magic of the day.
Looking Ahead
After nearly nine years together, through moves, milestones, new cities, and countless memories, Hannah and Clay are excited for what comes next. They hope to buy a house this spring and start a family, continuing the journey they have built side by side.
South Hills Jewelers is honored to be part of their love story, from the engagement ring to the wedding bands that symbolize their forever. Congratulations, Hannah and Clay!
